Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)_Monitoring, The accident occurred on Wednesday after a freight truck and motorcycle collided, according to police spokesperson Abdul Basir Zabuli.
He said that two motorbike riders died due to being struck by a truck.
The truck driver managed to escape the area, but an investigation began to find the driver, according to Zabuli.
Three people were earlier killed in a road accident in the Badakhshan province, Kofaab district.
The incident happened when a Toyota Datsun deviated from the road and fell into the valley, resulting in the death of three people in the vehicle.
According to officials, the current increase in traffic accidents is directly related to reckless driving, unpaved roads, poorly maintained vehicles, and a failure to follow traffic laws.
