Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)_Monitoring, The provincial director of Natural Disaster Management of Bamyan, Mawlavi Mohammad Tahir Shakir, told BNA that based on their initial surveys, the flood has damaged 150km of roads, farmlands, water canals, shops, houses, mosques, and destroyed schools in Yakawlang District of the province.
He said the exact statistics of the damage caused by these floods are not yet available adding that their survey team has been dispatched to the area for further assessments.
The governor of Bamyan, Mawlavi Abdullah Sarhadi, visit the floods affected regions to assess the situation of victims in the district.
Lately, Monsoon rains in different provinces of the country caused inundated floods that destroyed residential houses, farmlands, roads, and other public facilities.
