Thousands of Afghan refugees are displaced on the streets in England
About 8,000 Afghan refugees who are staying in England with the "Operation Warm Welcome" program will be evicted from their accommodation in hotels this summer and displaced on the streets of England.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): British Guardian newspaper wrote in a report on the same topic: Thousands of Afghan refugees will be evacuated from British hotels this summer.

According to this report, the officials of the refugee councils recently warned the officials of House No. 10 Downing Street (the British Prime Minister's office) and the Ministry of Interior employees in a crisis meeting that about 8 thousand Afghan refugees who entered this country in 2021 under the slogan of Operation Warm Welcome. Until the beginning of August, due to the end of the government deadline, they will be evacuated from their hotels and have nowhere to go.

According to the Guardian, British Prime Minister Sunak is expected to be in trouble in parliament over the issue because her plan violates a number of international human rights obligations and means Britain is "turning its back on the vast majority of refugees."

In a critical report, the Joint Committee on Human Rights has asked the UK to play its role in the global refugee protection system and to adhere to its legal obligations towards refugees, children and victims of modern slavery.

At last Thursday's crisis meeting, which was attended by a number of private contractors from the Ministry of Interior, British officials also discussed "low-cost" options for relocating more than 50,000 refugees who are staying in hotels.

However, it quickly became clear that the councils would be struggling due to a severe lack of places to help.

Sunak previously said his government had bought two more large ships to house almost 1,000 refugees to reduce the number of asylum seekers living in hotels, said to be costing £6 million a day.

The purchase of these ships has raised important questions. The Observer has revealed that the British government paid a contractor at least £1.5 million to turn an old, substandard military base into a refugee reception center, but it has never been used to house refugees.

In 1400 AH, when Kabul fell to the Islamic Emirate, Western countries, especially the United States and England, announced in a humanitarian show that they would grant asylum to thousands of Afghans who had cooperated with the forces of these countries during the occupation of Afghanistan.

These advertisements made tens of thousands of people go to Kabul airport to go to the West. Unfortunately, some of them were even hung on the wheels of airplanes, which were thrown during the flight and killed.
