Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The United Nations Security Council has published a report saying that terrorist threats are increasing in Afghanistan and the region and that the Al-Qaeda group is recovering its operational capabilities.
According to this report, which examines the situation in Afghanistan after August 2022, it is stated that although the attacks of the Khorasan branch of the ISIS group have decreased; but it has become more deadly than before.
Meanwhile, Noorullah Ebrahim Khel, a military expert, told AVA that instead of cooperating with the Islamic Emirate in preventing the spread of terrorist activities in Afghanistan, the United Nations propagates in favor of terrorists by publishing its reports.
He added that the fight against terrorism requires global and regional cooperation and that terrorists plan and organize their suicide and explosive attacks outside the borders of Afghanistan, because the main nests of these groups are in some countries of the region.
Ebrahim Khel also pointed out that the imposition of sanctions and restrictions by the United Nations on the current government has made the Islamic Emirate fundamentally unable to prevent terrorist attacks in the country.
This military expert emphasized that the United Nations is following the destructive policies of the West in Afghanistan and has no will to prevent the spread of terrorism in Afghanistan, because the names of the leaders of the Islamic Emirate are still on the blacklist of this organization and they do not want the Afghan government to recognize it.
He pointed out that if the international community continues to impose restrictions on the current government in Afghanistan, insecurity and poverty will spread to Asian countries as well.
At the same time, Qayyum Sufizada, an expert on international relations, said in a conversation with AVA: The forces of the Islamic Emirate have been able to destroy several hideouts of the ISIS group in less than two years and stop the movements of this group to some extent.
Stating that the United Nations is not independent in its decisions, he added that if the organization acts independently in its decisions, it can cooperate with the Afghan government to destroy terrorists through its various departments, including the Security Council and the Counter-Terrorism Office.
This expert on international relations added that the United Nations is under the influence of the member countries and great powers of the world, and some of its decisions have been unfavorable for some countries, including Afghanistan, due to political and economic pressures from these countries and powers.
Sufizada emphasized that the decisions of the United Nations should be adopted with the agreement of the member states and based on its international laws, and should not be applied unilaterally and following the opinions of Western countries.
At the same time, Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesman of the Islamic Emirate, in response to the report of the United Nations Security Council, said that the United Nations report on the presence of terrorist groups in Afghanistan, differences between the leaders of the Islamic Emirate, the involvement of members of the Islamic Emirate in drug trafficking and monopoly The power by them is baseless and "clear enmity with the people and the independent system and repeating the useless and biased propaganda of the past 20 years".
At the same time, Maulavi Abdul Kabir, sponsor and political deputy of the Prime Minister's Office of the Islamic Emirate, in a meeting with Mrs. Roza Otunbayeva, the UN representative in Afghanistan, while emphasizing the removal of the names of the officials of the Islamic Emirate from the black list of this organization, said that international institutions such as the World Bank should stop their activities.
