Medicine Is One of the Most Fundamental Issues In Afghanistan

Afghan Voice Agency(AVA)_Monitoring, The Deputy Prime Minister, Hanafi met with Dr. Gul Mohammad Osman, the general chairman and members of the Afghan Medical Council, according to a statement released by his office.

Osman shared details on the activities, functions, the importance of the existence of the Medical Council in the standardization of medicine fields in the country and the future plans of the aforementioned Council for the development of medicine in the country.

He said that aligning medical issues with international standards, arranging and adjusting the curriculum for medical students across the country, creating a national symposium in the health department and creating coordination between the relevant departments are among the basic issues that require the special attention of the officials of the Islamic Emirate.

For his part, Hanafi, called the reality of the Medical Council important for the country in order to monitor, evaluate and develop medicine in coordination with the relevant departments.

Deputy PM Hanafi called medicine one of the most fundamental issues of the country, which unfortunately has not been significantly developed in the past years, but the Islamic Emirate has paid serious attention to the above issues.

Hanafi asked the medical council to coordinate with the relevant departments to use all their efforts to standardize and provide standard services to the people.
