Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)_Monitoring, Hundreds of people had applied to teach in schools in different parts of Pul Khomri city, said Haroon Muslimyar, an official at Baghlan Education Department, a statement said.
After the evaluation of this exam, the problem of lack of teachers in remote areas of schools will be addressed, said Muslimyar.
The opening to the exam was attended by local officials of the Ministry of Education adding that hundreds of males and females took the exam in a transparent manner, he added.
Earlier, hundreds of other men and women passed the competitive exam to be employed as teachers in 561 vacant posts in religious schools of Balkh province.
