Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Rangers of the National Security Guard and naval commandos of the Indian Navy have an active and direct presence in establishing security measures in Srinagar at the G20 Tourism Summit.
According to Iran Press, it is expected that 200 representatives, including representatives of G20 member countries, international institutions and also representatives of guest countries, will attend the tourism meeting of this group in Srinagar.
It should be noted that Srinagar will host the G20 tourism meeting on May 22-24, 2023, and for this reason, special security measures have been established in this area.
After the then government of India lifted the state of emergency in the country's only Muslim-majority region on August 5, 2019, this is the first time that the G20 tourism summit will be held in Srinagar, the center of the Jammu and Kashmir region.
It is worth noting that; Srinagar is known for its rich cultural heritage and religious and historical places, and the Kashmir region under Indian control has been the most important center for Persian language learning.
