Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Mohammed bin Salman, the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, made these statements on (Friday, May 19) at the opening meeting of Arab leaders in Jeddah.
Salman emphasized that negotiation and dialogue is the solution to the current crisis in Syria.
The Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia added: "The issue of Palestine is a central issue for Arabs and Muslims and is at the top of Saudi Arabia's priorities."
The 32nd summit of the Arab countries, hosted by Saudi Arabia, has started on Friday, May 19, in Jeddah.
This meeting is being held with the presence of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and the participation of Syrian President Bashar Assad.
This is Assad's first appearance at the summit of Arab leaders after 2011.
The Arab League suspended Syria's membership in this body in 2011 after tensions that led to internal conflict in different parts of the country.
During a meeting in Cairo earlier this month, Arab foreign ministers agreed to return Syria to the Arab League.
Leaders of Arab countries will discuss developments in Palestine, Syria, Lebanon and Libya at the Jeddah summit.
