IEA Delegation Leaves for Iran
The Head of Afghanistan Food and Drug Administration (AFDA) of the Islamic Emirate and his accompanying delegation have met with the Deputy Minister of Health in International Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in Tehran, to discuss quality of food, drug and health products.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)_Monitoring, Both sides discussed the issues of mutual interest include strengthening of economic relation, export of drug to Afghanistan and high investment in production of healthy products and drug in the country, the statement said, adding that necessary efforts should be made to prevent drug trafficking.
 
In the meeting, the Deputy Minister of Health in International Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Dr. Mohammad Hossein Niknam, has assured that Afghanistan will be provided with any possible cooperation in health sector, according to the statement.
 
This is to be noted that the Head of Afghanistan Food and Drug Administration (AFDA) of the Islamic Emirate Dr.Abdul Bari Omer and his accompanying delegation have left to Iran three days ago to talk with health officials of that country, the statement added.
 
A few weeks back, head of AFDA Dr. Omer has also met the Kabul-based Iranian Embassy’s Economic Officer Hassan Shirzadi and assured that the foreign companies which are interested to invest in Afghanistan, particularly in health sector will be provided with necessary facilities in the country.
