Afghan Security Forces have prevented the smuggling of more than 1,000 Kg of precious stones in the Torkham town of eastern Nangarhar.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)_Monitoring, Officials from the Torkham customs and export department prevented an attempt to smuggle precious stones to Pakistan on Sunday, the Ministry of Finance said in a statement.
According to the statement, the officials allegedly prevented many precious stones, including nephrite, gold solar, lithium, and beryllium.
The seized smuggling stones include 4.18kg of beryllium, 97.50 kg of lithium, 5.30 kg of gold solar, and 930 kg of nephrite.
