He said: Through this meeting, we were able to share our plans and we talked about the control of those diseases that spread from one country to another, and a plan was prepared for which practical steps will be taken, and international organizations are with us in this field. They will be colleagues.
He added: Also, in this meeting of the member countries of G5, we talked about how our health system works, and how to fix its deficiencies and needs, and improve its capacities.
Acting Ministry of Public Health of the Islamic Emirate, while thanking the Islamic Republic of Iran for hosting, said that he had reached agreements with this country on some issues, and an agreement between the two countries is expected to be reached in various sectors such as blood banks, capacity building and other health sectors. be signed
He added that in the near future, the Islamic Republic of Iran is going to send a health delegation to Afghanistan, at the same time, some hospitals will be opened and an agreement on health cooperation between the two countries will be signed.
At the same time, Dr. Ebad asked the international organizations and the United Nations, especially the World Health Organization, to help Afghanistan for the development of the health sector, because the Afghan people have rights and rights like other nations of the world, and this is an inalienable right of the Afghan people, and health is nothing. It has nothing to do with politics.
He condemned some of the decisions of the United Nations regarding Afghanistan and requested that any assistance that is provided to health organizations in other parts of the world should also be provided to Afghanistan.
Acting Minister of Public Health, in response to AVA reporter question about the Imam Khomeini (RA) hospital in Bamyan province, said that it is a 200-bed hospital in Bamyan province that is dedicated to the heart department. The work of this hospital is being finalized. The transfer of some of its medical equipment to Afghanistan will be free of customs duty, which we have prepared for this. After all the necessary equipment is installed in that hospital, a high-ranking delegation from the Islamic Republic of Iran will come to Afghanistan and open this hospital.
Meanwhile, Dr. Mohammad Hossein Niknam, Special Assistant to the Minister, Director General of International Cooperation and Head of the Secretariat of G5 of the Ministry of Health of Iran also spoke to AVA reporter stating that cooperation with Afghanistan is absolutely necessary for this country and that it is the most important task. They know in the region, he said: "Even for us, what happens in Afghanistan is not important, but the health of its people is important and we are in contact with the health officials of this country."
He added that the Minister of Health of the Islamic Republic of Iran has assigned Mashhad University of Medical Sciences to advance the work with Afghanistan.
At the same time, Dr. Nik Nam informed about the travel schedule of Dr. Ainullahi, the Minister of Health of this country to Afghanistan and noted that following the three visits of the Minister of Public Health of Afghanistan to Tehran, the Minister of Health of Iran will also visit Kabul, after which, New cooperation between the two countries will be keyed.
Regarding of Imam Khomeini (RA) hospital in Bamyan Province, he also said that a meeting was held between Dr. Alandar Ebad and Dr. Abul Qasemi, the president of Baqiyatullah University of Medical Sciences (RA) in Iran, and God willing, things will progress in this regard.
Meanwhile, the 26th meeting of senior experts as well as the first empowerment program in the field of governance and management of the health system of the Group of Five countries in the field of health (Islamic Republic of Iran, Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, World Health Organization) in addition to Tajikistan at noon on Wednesday , May 10, he finished his work at Esteghlal Hotel in Tehran. In this four-day meeting, Dr. Qalandar Ebad, Acting Minister of Public Health of the Islamic Emirate, was present at the head of a delegation.
During this meeting, a four-year practical plan was formulated, which emphasizes the three areas of primary care network, containment of infectious diseases and health of human gatherings.
