3 children were killed in Kandahar’s mine blast

 

The official said the siblings were playing with the mine, which suddenly detonated, and all three were killed on the spot.

 

A similar incident occurred in the province, one child was killed, and another was injured. 

 

On the other hand, another incident occurred in the eastern province of Afghanistan, Ghazni, Nahoor district, killing two children.

 

Unexploded bombs from prior conflicts have recently become more common in various parts of the country, killing and hurting men, women, and even children.

 

Since last November, contributions have been made to support demining in the nation by international organizations, including Australia, Denmark, Germany, Japan, Sweden, the United States, the United Kingdom, and the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), and the UN Central Emergency Response Fund (CERF).
