Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Following a large and unprecedented fire in the city of Alberta, Canada, the officials of this city have declared a state of emergency.
So far, thousands of residents of this city have been forced to leave their homes.
According to Iran Press news agency, the Canadian authorities announced the occurrence of 110 active fires in Alberta by Sunday morning, of which 36 have been controlled.
Western Canada was experiencing a cold spring until last week; the rapid increase of 10 to 15 degrees of temperature, above the average at this time of the year, has led to the simultaneous occurrence of forest fires and floods.
