Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): The Arab League will hold a meeting at the level of foreign ministers on Sunday to discuss the crisis in Sudan and the case of Syria's return to the Arab Union.
This meeting will be held two weeks before the meeting of the heads of Arab countries, which is scheduled to be held on May 19 in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. At the same time, many efforts have been made to make Syria participate in the Arab member’s summit, but this issue requires steps to reach the stage of voting on lifting the suspension of Syria's Unionhip in this league.
On the other hand, Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman al-Safadi stated that Syria will soon return to the Arab Union, and emphasized that all Arab countries agree on the need to end the Syrian crisis, and the disagreements are related to the method of this return.
In an interview with CNN, Al-Safadi stated that everyone knows that the success of this political process requires the participation of the international community and the government of Damascus to deal with the challenges of the crisis.
