Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): The Swiss Federal Government Council has said that it will modify 13 decrees related to financial sanctions against the Emirate from the beginning of June.
By publishing a statement, this council added that it has taken such an action by following the humanitarian programs of the United Nations.
By amending these decrees, the Swiss Federal Council can allow donors to have business relationships, transfer money or goods to provide humanitarian aid to sanctioned individuals and companies in Afghanistan.
The Swiss Federal Council has said that the amended decrees will be implemented from the beginning of June.
The United Nations also requested help to improve the social and economic situation in Afghanistan.
According to the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), 28 million people in Afghanistan need urgent humanitarian aid.
Earlier, the Canadian government announced that it would make amendments to the country's law to allow aid organizations to provide humanitarian aid to the needy in Afghanistan.
It should be mentioned that some people of the Islamic Emirate are under the embargo of some countries.
