Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Mullah Abdul Latif Mansour, Acting Minister of Energy and Water, has said that a number of development project budgets have been allocated for water management projects in the country.
Speaking to the employees of this ministry, he said that in the coming year, a number of development budgets for water management projects are being considered, and the work of those projects that remained from the previous year will also be completed.
Mansour also expressed his satisfaction with the meetings he had with national and international investors regarding investment in energy production projects and said that contracts for the production of electricity from coal and gas sources have been signed with two private companies.
The water crisis in Afghanistan has become a big problem, especially in big cities, due to excessive consumption. As of now, the residents of the capital city of Kabul are facing the problem of water shortage.
