Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)_Monitoring, "We discussed the situation in Afghanistan during today's meeting. Without officially recognizing the IslamicEmirate, we would continue our interaction in Afghanistan, Cavusoglu said.
Turkey's Foreign Minister said that it is impossible to accept the Islamic Emirate’s decision regarding Afghan women and girls.
“During today’s meeting we talked about Afghanistan, and we talked about the Islamic Emirate, and we talked about the attitude towards women and girls in the country which is unacceptable. We would like to send our common signal to the Islamic Emirate,” Cavusoglu added.
However, the Islamic Emirate said that it wants positive relations with all nations and asked them to refrain from interfering in Afghanistan's domestic affairs.
“They should not interfere in Afghanistan's domestic affairs. They should adjust their interactions with Afghanistan in a way that takes into account issues from two countries and two directions. We want to have good relations with all countries,” said Zabihullah Mujahid, spokesman of the Islamic Emirate.
According to analysts, interactions with countries around the region as well as the world with Kabul is beneficial to all parties.
"The recognition issue is important; Afghanistan should be recognized. It should come out of isolation and give Afghans a chance to breathe,” said Wahid Faqiri, a political analyst.
Foreign ministers from neighboring nations and Russia are expected to meet in Uzbekistan on Thursday to discuss Afghanistan.
