Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Mazar-Sharif: Sayed Saleh Sadr, an expert on religious issues in Balkh, told AVA: Northern Afghanistan is under the control of ISIS, and the countries supporting ISIS are pursuing their goals in the country by using this tool. But we have seen that in several cases some movements of this group were prevented in Balkh and the forces of the Islamic Emirate showed their activeness.
According to him, the seriousness of the forces of the Islamic Emirate is a source of optimism and if the security forces proceed with such determination, ISIS will not be able to carry out any activities in Afghanistan.
Gul Ahmed Mirzaei, a resident of Mazar-e-Sharif, also expressed his satisfaction with the destruction of ISIS forces in Balkh, saying that the people will be with such a government that strives for the peace of the people.
Also, Zahra Ahmadi, a social activist from Mazar-e-Sharif, told AVA: "We are happy that we have seen the nests and forces of ISIS in Mazar-e-Sharif and other areas of Balkh destroyed in recent days, and we support the security forces in carrying out anti-terrorist operations."
He added that the people of Afghanistan have realized that America never wants us to have a good day and always commits its crimes under the name of ISIS.
This is despite the fact that in the last one month, three anti-ISIS operations have taken place in the center and surrounding areas of Balkh district of Balkh province, during which at least ten forces of this group have been killed.
In the latest operation against Daesh, six members of Daesh terrorist group were killed during an operation in Naharshahi district of Balkh province.
