Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Hussain Ibrahim Taha, the Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, said on Thursday Marchh 16, at the opening of this meeting that the organization is committed to supporting Afghanistan in humanitarian affairs.
He said that the decisions of the government of the Islamic Emirate regarding the education of girls will also be discussed in this meeting.
Mr. Taha added that the Organization of Islamic Cooperation will continue its efforts to talk with the authorities of the Islamic Emirate in Afghanistan and, in coordination with the "International Academy of Islamic Jurisprudence" (IIFA), will send a distinguished team of scholars to Afghanistan to discuss with the Islamic Emirate about women's education and work.
According to him, Tariq Ali Bakhit, the special envoy of this organization for Afghanistan, delivered the message of this organization to the authorities of the Islamic Emirate during his trip to Kabul.
Meanwhile, in December 2021, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation held an extraordinary meeting on Afghanistan in Islamabad and considered mechanisms for providing humanitarian aid to Afghanistan.
