Maulavi Mohammad Mohammadi, director of environmental protection of Balkh Province, says: Various guilds are active in Balkh Province, and at the same time, many efforts are made by this department to create green areas in the working environment of each guild and to purify They should install a filter for their smoke to prevent the increase in air pollution and we assure the citizens of this province that in the near future they will experience a space free from any kind of pollution in this city.
The head of Mazar-e-Sharif Environment Department considered the baths, clay kilns and coal sheds in Darwaza Jumhouri area of the center of this province to be the main sources of air pollution and stated that moving the place of buying and selling of coal to three kilometers of Hairatan crossroads in Mazar-e-Sharif The agenda of this office is that its area reaches one thousand acres of land.
He added that by burning urban garbage and creating green belts with the cooperation of relevant departments and domestic and foreign institutions on the four sides of the entrance gates of Balkh province, in the coming years, the residents of this city will have access to a climate free from any type of pollution.
This environmental officer of Mazar-e-Sharif city stated that the lack and usability of air pollution detection devices is one of the big problems in this department, that there is no accurate information about the level of pollution in the city in a standardized manner with global standards.
He asked the citizens of the country to pay serious attention to their environment and keep the city free from any kind of dirt like their home by planting a sapling in the area of their home, work and factory so that everyone can use clean weather and be safe.
Head of environmental protection of Balkh province, referring to the issue of urban culture, said that people are obliged to throw all their waste, especially plastic, in the garbage bins in every area so that the citizens are safe from any harm that may be caused to them.
It should be remembered that the Inspection Board of the Department of Environment of Mazar-e-Sharif supervises other guilds for installing filters and preventing air pollution; however, the people of Balkh province are suffering from environmental pollution.
