Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)_Monitoring, The Rural Rehabilitation and Development Department, of Kunduz in cooperation with aid organizations, has provided work for more than 4,000 unemployed people in the center and some districts for four months.
The provincial head of the department, Mawlavi Asadullah Hamid, told BNA that over 4,000 youths are involved in reconstruction, rebuilding, and cleaning roads, canals, streams, and ditches in the center and districts of Khanabad, Aktash, Aliabad, Chahardara, Dashtarchi, and Imamsaheb of Kunduz through the World Food Program is working in cooperation of Rural Rehabilitation and Development, with the technical cooperation of the Afghanistan Social Development Institution.
These workers receive 50kgs of flour, 4.5kgs of cooking oil, kgs of beans, and salt in exchange for their work.
Hamid, says that they are striving to implement dozens of other development projects and create jobs for thousands of unemployed youth in this province.
