$40 Million Cash Reaches Kabul
A $40 million cash aid package arrived in Kabul, and the Afghan Central Bank will auction $17 million aimed at stabilizing Afghani. Da Afghanistan Bank (DAB) earlier today announced.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)_Monitoring, Afghanistan’s central bank welcomed the aid, as part of the United Nation’s humanitarian cash aid, and called on the international community for further cooperation across fields.
 
DBA reports from receiving cash packages on a weekly basis, which helps the Islamic Emirate administration to strengthen their governance, according to the critics of the ruling regime.
 
Whereas, the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) had earlier clarified that cash shipped to Afghanistan is deposited in UN accounts in a private bank, and will be used by UN agencies solely for the purpose of humanitarian aid and other supportive programs. 
 
According to the central bank, this is the 61st aid package that has been dispatched to Afghanistan. 
 
The central bank has stated that the government appreciates the international community’s support in transferring cash into the country aimed at helping vulnerable families during these difficult times.
 
Meanwhile, Afghanistan Central Bank will auction $17 million on Wednesday, as part of the continuous efforts to stabilize local currency against foreign currencies in the local markets.
