Awakened media of the world should support Afghan media institutions
The Islamic Radio and Television Union issued a statement condemning the terrorist attack on the representative office of Tebyan Center and AVA News Agency in Mazar-e-Sharif and asked the media people and media organizations that are awake and honorable in the world to support Afghanistan's media institutions in various ways and Help them to raise their voices and reflect the barbarity of the terrorist attacks carried out on them.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)-Kabul: Following the reactions to the terrorist attack at the representative office of Tebyan Center and AVA News Agency in Mazar-e-Sharif, the Islamic Radio and Television Union has issued a statement condemning this terrorist explosion.
 
The text of the statement of condemnation of the Union of Islamic Radio and Televisions is as follows:
"Criminal arrogance targeted the office of the Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) in Mazar-e-Sharif city, as a result of which two people were martyred and 37 others were injured.
 
Condemning this criminal attack on media people and media freedoms guaranteed in all international charters, laws and standards, the Islamic Radio and Television Union states the following:
 
* The Islamic Radio and Television Union condemns the attack on Afghanistan's information institutions and considers this terrorist explosion to be an open aggression and an ugly crime that aims to silence the media and information institutions.
 
* The union emphasizes that these crimes against journalists in Afghanistan are a violation of international covenants, laws and standards, in which the right of journalists to report the truth and work without hindrance is guaranteed under any circumstances. This crime is prosecuted and there is no escape from it.
 
*The Union of Islamic Radio and Televisions respects, admires and praises the professional performance of these Afghan media institutions, which, despite facing the existing challenges, work in harmony with the issues and priorities of the people of their country.
 
"The union calls on the media people and media institutions that are awake, honest and honorable in the world to support these Afghan media institutions in various ways and help them in making their voices heard and reflecting the barbarity of the terrorist attacks carried out on them."
 
It is worth noting; According to the latest statistics, in the terrorist explosion on Saturday, March 11, 2 journalists were martyred and 37 others, including nearly 20 journalists, were injured in the office of the Tebyan center and the Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) in Mazar-e-Sharif.
 
On this day, a media cultural program titled the role of the media in promoting the culture of Mahdism was being held, and on the sidelines of it, some journalists of Balkh Province were to be honored on the eve of the National Journalist's Day.
 
This terrorist explosion has been met with severe and widespread domestic and international reactions.
