Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Following the widespread reactions of international organizations, countries, cultural and religious centers to the explosion and terrorist attack on the offices of the Tebyan Center and AVA News Agency in Mazar-e-Sharif, the Assembly of Shiite Scholars and Influentials of Afghanistan issued a statement against this attack.
The full text of the statement of the Assembly of Afghan Shia Scholars and Influentials is as follows:
Condemnation of the attack on journalists in Mazar-e-Sharif
Unfortunately, the enemies of Islam and the country in two cowardly attacks in Mazar-e-Sharif caused the martyrdom of the Governor of Balkh and Hussain, Nadri, a reporter of the Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) and the head of the youth of Tebyan Cultural Office, and the injuries of journalists and defenseless people.
The Assembly of Afghan Shia Scholars and Influentials considers this cowardly attack as an indication of fear of enlightened cultural groups and freedom of speech and strongly condemns it.
We ask the country's security officials to make more efforts to ensure the security of journalists and to identify the perpetrators of the bloody incident in Mazar-e-Sharif.
Those responsible for organizing cultural, religious, social and political gatherings and programs should take security measures seriously and cooperate with the security forces.
In the end, we pray for the highest honors for the victims of this accident, and for the survivors, a generous reward and patience, and for the injured, a speedy recovery and full recovery from God's eternal court.
