The beginning of anti-EU protests in Austria
Hundreds of Austrian citizens in Vienna, the capital of this country, staged demonstrations demanding Austria's neutrality in the war between Russia and Ukraine, as well as the country's exit from the European Union.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: Hundreds of Austrian citizens protested in the capital of this country on Sunday (March 5).

Demonstrators demanded peace talks between Russia and Ukraine and also asked the Austrian army to take a neutral position in this war.

They also demanded the country's exit from the European Union.

Demonstrators carried signs, one of which read: "Yes, neutrality and peace, no to the EU."

In continuation of the anti-Russian actions of Western countries led by the US under the pretext of Russia's special military operations in the Donbas region, 4 Russian diplomats were expelled from Austria last month.

The Austrian government declared 4 Russian diplomats as undesirable elements and gave them a week to leave the country.

Referring to the expulsion of two diplomats from the Russian embassy and two diplomats from the country's representative office in international organizations in Vienna, Austria's foreign ministry claimed that they had performed activities outside of diplomatic status.

Western media mentions the importance of this action by Austria in two cases: "First, Austria traditionally considers expelling diplomats. Second, the expulsion of bilateral diplomats, in this case from the United Nations, is very rare and usually requires the approval of the respective organization.
