Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: On the eve of the first anniversary of the beginning of the Russian special military operation in Ukraine, "Dmitry Zhirnov", the Russian ambassador in Kabul, answered questions about the reason for this operation in an interview with the Afghan media.
In response to a question about increasing Western military aid, including missiles and rockets, to Ukraine, he pointed out that based on the Russian Constitution, four territories (two People's Republics and two provinces) were transferred from Ukraine to Ukraine as a result of the referendum. The Russian Federation joined in and said: The West cannot maintain its peace, therefore it plays an important role and affects the course of the operation, but Russia is trying to push back the artillery units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to a distance.
The Russian ambassador in Kabul added: The more weapons are provided to the Kiev regime, the more it will be necessary to push this regime back from the areas annexed to Russia. These other areas are considered parts of Russia.
He said that the aid of the West led by America to Ukraine started with bullets and light weapons and now they are talking about planes. They are tuning the Ukrainian regime to target civilian areas annexed by Russia.
Regarding the reliable reasons for the current state of events in Ukraine, Zhirnov advises to refer at least to the time of the administration of the former US President Barack Obama and examined his statements about the exception of that country. Later, we can count the similar statements of Trump, the previous president of the United States, who said that America is an exceptional nation and there is no other nation in the world that has a great responsibility. On the other hand, President Joe Biden has also raised this idea many times, and then the employees of his administration started to give shape to that idea.
For example, he pointed to the words of Anthony Blinkin, the US Secretary of State, who said that the Americans are obliged to realize their advance and exceptionality in the ability to lead, because if the Americans are not, then chaos will prevail in the world.
The Russian ambassador in Kabul also pointed to the article by Joe Salvin, who in 2021 was the National Security Adviser of the US President, who discussed the issue of US exceptionalism and openly stated that he presents this concept of exceptionalism. It shows that they cannot allow themselves to rely on racial and historical equality, but Americans must spread the new free democracy everywhere.
According to him, this provides only one concept; It means that others do not have the right to remind about their history. Americans still want to "melt" others, so that everyone is American in nature, so that Americans "melted" all those who "went" to America through the "melting furnace" in their time. They also experimented in Afghanistan, but everything ended with a disaster and the shameful escape of Western soldiers and advisers.
Dmitri Zhirnov, in response to the fact that maybe the West does not want the existence of Russia, but it should either be "disintegrated" or "divided", for example, in Poland, they are seriously talking about this, what will Russian diplomacy be like in such a situation? He answered: I think we will not be without work. This work is going on in several ways right now. In the first step, we present our policy, reasons and explanations about the facts in the most active way in the international scene, because no one in the West wants and does not try to do something that will make mistakes in Europe and America, but we must be supporters of the truth and mercilessly fight against forgery and fraud.
He continued: Diplomatic work with Russia's partners in the whole world is another direction of our work. The development of the exchange of delegations at the level of ministers and deputies continues. We travel to countries with which we have plans to promote constructive cooperation. Delegations continue to come to us. This work is important.
Meanwhile, Russia started a special and extensive military operation against Ukraine on February 2022. In the past one year, it has now become clear that the political and military movements and conspiracies of America and European countries against Russia in Ukraine, as well as the approach of the Ukrainian government as a plaything of the West, were the main factors for the start of this special operation.
