Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)_Monitoring, The committee said, among the gathered beggars, 12,272 are women, after evaluation, 5,677 of them are eligible and 6,655 are identified as professional beggars.
Among the mentioned beggars there are 12,445 children, of which 4,395 are eligible, 8,16 are professional beggars, and 70 are orphans, that were introduced to social affairs.
The committee said that in addition to feeding the orphaned children, education is also provided for them.
At the same time, the Afghan Red Crescent Society started the process of distributing cash aid to deserving beggars in Kabul a few months back, and hundreds of people have benefited from this aid so far.
The ARCS, provide 2 thousand Afghanis are distributed to each member of the beggar families based on the program.
