Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Herat: Mullah Mohammad Haq Bashir, head of rural rehabilitation and development of Nimroz province, says that for 12 thousand and 248 poor families from several institutions with the financial assistance of WFP and the coordination of the Department of Rural Rehabilitation and Development Cash and food have been made.
He added: In five districts of Nimroz, 8574 needy families have been helped with food including flour, oil, cod and baby food.
Maulavi Bashir also noted: 6,400 Afghanis in cash has been distributed to 3,674 other needy families in Zaranj, the capital of this province.
At the same time, those who have received these aids express their satisfaction and ask the authorities to provide them with a decent job and income.
They say that these aids are temporary and do not solve all their needs, if they have a suitable job, they will be effective in strengthening the economy of the society while providing the livelihood of the family.
