Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate today (January 29, 2023) condemned the desecration and burning of a copy of the Holy Quran in Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark.
The announcement states: "The Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemns the attempt of a number of extremists in Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark, to desecrate the Holy Quran and burn a copy of it."
In a part of this declaration, it is stated that insulting the opinion of nearly two billion Muslims is not acceptable in any way to justify freedom of speech.
In this announcement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has asked the European countries to stop such people and hate mongers and fulfill their responsibility.
This is despite the fact that earlier a copy of the Holy Quran was burned in Sweden by a Swedish citizen, which caused global reactions.
It should be noted that many citizens in different provinces of Afghanistan protested against the desecration of the Holy Quran in European countries.
