Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The Ministry of Public Health published a newsletter Wednesday (January 25) announcing that Martin Griffiths, the Deputy Secretary General of the United Nations, met with Mowlavi Mohammad Ishaq Sahibzada, the Finance and Administrative Deputy of the Ministry of Public Health.
The ministry's newsletter states that during this meeting, the sustainability of foreign aid, greater coordination and cooperation of international institutions were discussed.
The financial and administrative deputy of the Ministry of Public Health has asked this delegation that the United Nations and international organizations adjust their program in coordination with this ministry and continue their cooperation.
At the same time, Griffiths has also emphasized on greater cooperation and coordination with the Ministry of Public Health.
However, Martin Griffiths, the Deputy Secretary General of the United Nations, in a meeting with Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, the Economic Deputy of Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate, stated that the international community is willing to interact and maintain bilateral relations with the Islamic Emirate in order to solve the problems of Afghanistan, adding that Now is the best opportunity for this interaction.
It should be remembered that Martin Griffiths, the Deputy Secretary General of the United Nations, came to Afghanistan at the head of a delegation and had separate meetings with a number of high-ranking officials of the Islamic Emirate.
