Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Mohammad Sadiq, Pakistan's special representative for Afghanistan affairs, tweeted today (Wednesday, January) that Russia's special representative for Afghanistan has visited Pakistan.
Pakistan's special representative for Afghanistan affairs has said that Zamir Kabulov, Russia's special representative for Afghanistan affairs, visited Islamabad and discussed bilateral cooperation and developments in Afghanistan.
Sadiq added that in this meeting, recent developments in the region and closer cooperation between Moscow and Islamabad for a better future were discussed.
The representative of Pakistan praised Roshan Kabulov's vision and described him as a knowledgeable diplomat.
However, Hossein Amir Abdullahian, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, announced his meeting with Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, and said that Afghanistan is a common concern of Iran and Pakistan.
This meeting was held yesterday (Tuesday, January 24) on the sidelines of the ECO Council of Ministers meeting in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan.
It can be recalled that Zamir Kabulov, Russia's special representative for Afghanistan, came to Kabul before his trip to Pakistan and met with the officials of the Islamic Emirate regarding cooperation and illegal issues.
In continuation of these meetings, the Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan has also announced that Bakhtiar Saidov, the Acting Foreign Minister of this country, and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the Foreign Minister of Pakistan, discussed strategic cooperation and regional issues, including the situation in Afghanistan, on Tuesday.
According to the ministry's announcement, one of the topics discussed in this meeting was the project of constructing the Uzbekistan railway from Afghanistan.
