Islamic Emirate forgave the domestic media tax crimes
Abdulhaq Hemad, the head of publications of the Ministry of Information and Culture of the Islamic Emirate, says that the government has forgiven all domestic media for tax crimes.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: yesterday, Monday, January 16, he wrote in a tweet that the payment of the remaining media tax has been approved in three-year installments.
This is despite the fact that after the rule of the Islamic Emirate, many media outlets in the country have faced a financial crisis, and this situation is considered the main reason for the closure of many media outlets.

Earlier, Abdulhaq Hemad said that no media outlet was closed by the Islamic Emirate and he attributed the downfall of some media outlets to economic problems.

According to him, three main reasons, including the cessation of financial support from donors, the escape of media officials, and the cessation of income through advertisements, have caused the downfall of a number of media outlets.

At the same time, Hemad said that according to their latest survey, there are currently 165 audio media and 55 TV stations operating throughout the country.
