Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Mazar-e-Sharif: After the suspension of gold mining in Chah Ab Takhar district, a number of workers who came from different provinces to work in this gold mine say that they have been suffering huge financial losses for several months and they ask the leadership of the Islamic Emirate to resume gold mining in this district as soon as possible in order to solve the economic problems of the people.
Mining of gold mines in Chah Ab Takhar district has been stopped since two months due to non-compliance of standards by the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum.
At the same time, the officials in Takhar Mines Directorate say that the legal mining of gold mines will start in Chah Ab district.
Abdul Naser Haqqani, head of Takhar Mines, told Ava that the mining of gold mines was stopped due to non-compliance with standards, but the mining process will start soon.
He added that the gold mines have been put up for tender and the companies are starting to extract it in a standard way.
Meanwhile, based on the survey and the results obtained, the total amount of gold mine in Chah Ab Takhar district is predicted to be 31 tons.
According to economic affairs experts, if this mine is legally contracted with private companies, thousands of tons of work will be provided, and Takhar province's income will increase from this document.
