Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The high-ranking delegation of the Afghan Shia Ulama Council visited Grand Ayatollah Sistani in Iraq.
The board expressed the current situation in Afghanistan and the position of the Ulama Council, and while explaining the existence of extreme poverty in the country, they thanked and appreciated their assistance to the poor of Afghanistan, including the Paktika earthquake victims, and requested the continuation and strengthening of this type of assistance.
On the other hand, Grand Ayatollah Sistani ordered that in this situation, it is necessary that the Shiites take the path of love, kindness and relationship and adopt a peaceful approach with the Islamic Emirate, so that they can pursue the rights of the people.
This great authority of the Shiite world said that the right and wise way is what the Council of Scholars has taken.
Regarding the financial assistance to the poor, he promised to continue and strengthen it and said that they have ordered their lawyers to help the needy Shiites and Sunnis.
In a part of his speech, His Holiness emphasized the strengthening of Islamic brotherhood between Shia and Sunni brothers and the creation of unity and love between the followers of Islamic religions in Afghanistan.
His Excellency also mentioned the greatness and goodness of the late Ayatollah Mohseni (RA), the late president of the Shia Ulama Council of Afghanistan, and praised the services of the late Ayatollah Mohseni.
It is worth mentioning that due to the publication of conflicting news about the current situation in Afghanistan abroad, especially among the great authorities of Shia imitation in the seminaries of Mashhad, Qom and Najaf Ashraf, the Council of Shia Ulamas of Afghanistan appointed a delegation under the chairmanship of Mohammad Akbari, the deputy of the Council of Ulamas. In order to explain the current situation of the country and to express the views and activities of the Council, he has been sent to Iran and Iraq.
