According to the Breshna newsletter, during this meeting, the representative of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce told the head of Breshna that they want to invest in the production of 500 megawatts of electricity through coal in Afghanistan.
The representative of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce has said that this country has the experience of generating electricity from coal in 11 countries.
Mohammad Hanif Hamze said that the joint technical delegations of Breshna and China should discuss the production of electricity from coal in Afghanistan through joint meetings.
Hamza has assured the Chinese investors that they are ready to cooperate in providing any investment in the electricity production sector in Afghanistan.
Afghanistan relies on imported electricity, recently Uzbekistan has reduced its electricity exports, including the capital of 11 provinces of the country, which have faced an unprecedented shortage of electricity.
