Afghan Voice Agency(AVA) - Tehran: Nasser Kanani, the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran, in response to the news of the suspension of girls' education in Afghan universities, said: The Islamic Republic of Iran, as a neighbor of Afghanistan and interested in peace, stability and development in this country, It is sad to hear the news of the existence of obstacles for higher university education of girls and women in Afghanistan.
Kanani added that the Islamic Republic of Iran hopes that the relevant authorities of Afghanistan will quickly remove the obstacles and provide the ground for resuming the education of the male and female students of this country in all levels of education so that they can enjoy the right to study science and knowledge and play a more effective role in have the development and prosperity of Afghanistan.
At the same time, many Islamic countries as well as the Organization of Islamic Cooperation have demanded that the officials of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan review the suspension of the education of female students in schools and students in universities and remove the imposed restrictions.
This decision has been accompanied by many reactions inside the country, especially among the people.
