Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Mazar-e-Sharif: Kunduz Police Spokesman Obaidullah Abedi told AVA that the incident took place at 2 am yesterday (Sunday, December 11) on the Kunduz-Kabul public highway in the Zanjeer area of Aliabad district of this province.
According to him, this incident happened after bus 404, which was moving from Kabul to Kunduz, deviated from the road and then fell into the water.
Abedi attributed the cause of this incident to carelessness and fast driving on the part of the driver.
The spokesperson of Kunduz Police said that women and children are among the victims of the incident, and the injured have been transferred to the hospital.
Meanwhile, the doctors of the 400-bed seminary hospital in Kunduz province have described the condition of some of the injured as critical.
This is despite the fact that during the last one month, traffic incidents have increased on the highways in the north and northeast of the country, most of which are attributed to driver carelessness and road damage.
