Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): The Moscow meeting for Afghanistan was held in Moscow with the participation of eleven countries: Russia, Afghanistan, China, Pakistan, Iran, India, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.
The first Moscow meeting on Afghanistan was held in April 2017. This is the first time that the Taliban are not present at the Moscow meeting.
According to Sputnik, China's special representative for Afghanistan, Yue Xiaowang, said today (Wednesday, November 16) at the fourth Moscow consultative meeting on Afghanistan: "The United States of America is the source of the problems that Afghanistan is facing today. It is necessary that the main responsibility of strengthening and undertake the reconstruction of Afghanistan."
The representative of China emphasized that the US withdrawal from Kabul in 2021 shows the complete failure of the US strategy and "Western democracy has taken root in this country."
Yue Xiaowang said: We should ask the United States to end the unilateral sanctions against Afghanistan and unconditionally return the funds blocked by the United States to this country.
This diplomat asked all the parties present at the meeting to work together "to achieve peace, stability and development of Afghanistan": "The parties present here are connected with Afghanistan. Afghanistan and all parties are neighbors. This is a society that they have a common future.This was reflected in the recently concluded National Congress of the Communist Party of China.
