Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Former US President Donald Trump called Nancy Pelosi an "animal" on Monday at a gathering on the eve of the congressional elections and a few days after attacking Pelosi's husband, Speaker of the US House of Representatives, with a hammer.
According to the Washington Post newspaper, the writings of the perpetrator of the attack on Pelosi's wife, which were posted on the internet, were extremely racist and in support of Donald Trump and against the Democratic Party.
Speaking on behalf of Republican congressional candidates at a rally near Dayton, Ohio, Trump said: "Honestly, I think she's an animal too."
According to the American magazine Politico, Paul Pelosi, the husband of the Speaker of the US House of Representatives, was attacked on October 28 in San Francisco by a man who is accused of trying to kidnap Nancy Pelosi and harm other Democrats. This attack has increased concerns, especially among Democrats, about the political violence and rhetoric of the Republicans.
Referring to possible negative reactions to his comment, Trump continued: "They will say what a terrible thing. He called Nancy an animal. I will never use that nonsense word again. But what he did to us in this country..." Trump also called Pelosi "Crazy Nancy Pelosi" as usual.
Earlier, Trump responded to Nancy Pelosi's provocative visit to Taiwan on his social network "Truth" while calling Pelosi crazy and said that whatever he does will fail.
Referring to the defeat of the Democrats in his impeachment twice, he wrote: "Why has this crazy Nancy Pelosi gone to Taiwan? It is always troublesome. None of his things go right.
