Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): According to a newsletter published by Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesman of the Islamic Emirate, Mullah Hebatullah said that special attention should be paid to the implementation of Sharia law.
The leader of the Islamic Emirate has said that all government officials will give him an account of how much they have implemented Sharia in this one year of their government. He emphasized on the full implementation of his six-point decree on women's rights.
This decree of the leader of the Islamic Emirate was published in the month of Sagittarius last year and some of its articles were about marriage, marriage and dowry of women.
According to this decree, a woman is not property, but a "free and noble human being" and no one can give her "bad" in exchange for peace.
In one of the articles of Mullah Hebatullah's decree, it was stated that the consent of adult girls is necessary at the time of marriage, so that "the marriage is equal and there is no risk of sedition and corruption".
In the third article of this decree, it is stated that after the death of the husband, whenever the Islamic period (four months and ten days or pregnancy) has passed, neither the brother-in-law nor anyone else can forcibly marry the widow.
Likewise, in this decree of the leader of the Islamic Emirate, taking dowry from the new husband was considered a woman's right.
