Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Iran's domestic media have reported that Iran's Foreign Minister Hussain Amir Abdullahian and New Zealand's Foreign Minister Nanaya Mahuta discussed developments, bilateral and regional relations in a webinar.
Regarding Afghanistan, Iran's foreign minister said that the formation of an inclusive government with the strong participation of all ethnic groups is one of the necessary foundations for the establishment of peace and stability in this country.
Recalling the provision of services to more than 4.5 million Afghan refugees in the Islamic Republic of Iran, he emphasized the need for the support of the international community to manage this heavy responsibility and the help of countries including New Zealand in this regard.
New Zealand's foreign minister, Nanaya Mahuta, praised the humane approach of the Islamic Republic of Iran in accepting millions of Afghan refugees, and emphasized her country's policy to support the establishment of peace in Afghanistan and help refugees.
The foreign minister of New Zealand has also appreciated Iran's assistance in transferring a number of Afghan forces related to New Zealand to that country through the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Referring to the important position of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Nanaya Mahuta emphasized on the development of cooperation between Iran and New Zealand.
