Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Holy Mashhad: Katib Mahboob Banai, the leader of the Hezbollah of Afghanistan, officially announced in a ceremony that was held in the presence of jihadi personalities, scholars, academics and influential people in the Shaheed Misbah Hosseinia, the joining of the Hezbollah of Afghanistan to the Tebyan center. He called the only reason for joining the Tabyan Center to be purposeful, governorship, continuation of the struggle and intransigence of this organization with the enemies of Islam and global arrogance.
Mr. Banai said that he joined the Tabyan center after thinking and consulting with the members of the central council of this party.
He said that since 1392, he got familiar with the activities of Tabyan Center in Herat and joined this center by studying and researching.
Hojjat al-Islam wal Muslimin Sayed Isa Hussaini Mazari, General Director of Tebyan Social Cultural Activities Center, also welcomed the joining of the Hezbollah of Afghanistan and said: Tebyan Center has provided a platform for all elites and religious people, outside of ethnic, regional and prepare the space to get out of the current crisis and establish peace while maintaining the territorial integrity of the country.
Mr. Mazari said: "In the current situation, our elites should turn threats into opportunities by carefully studying them and take action to exploit them, we will not regret what opportunities we missed when we could have exploited them best."
It should be mentioned that after the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan, Hezbollah of Afghanistan was founded in Herat by five religious forces and followers of Velayat Faqih in 1359 and continued its struggle until the defeat of the Soviet Union and the fall of the communist government in Afghanistan. Hundreds of Hezbollah of Afghanistan forces were martyred, injured and disabled during the fighting during the jihad and resistance. Hezbollah of Afghanistan started its official activity in 2013 under the leadership of Katib Mahboob Banai by registering in the Ministry of Justice.
This party has been one of the few parties and currents in Afghanistan that purposefully fought against the phenomenon of colonialism and exploitation during the past 20 years and because of this, Mr. Mahboob Banai was arrested by the Americans in 2019 and kept in Bagram prison until the fall of Ashraf Ghani's government.
