Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): US Foreign Minister Anthony Blinken visited Ukraine today (Thursday, September 8).
"Associated Press" news agency reported about this: "Blinken traveled to Ukraine on an unannounced trip and has now arrived in Kyiv."
According to this report, Blinken's unexpected visit to Kiev coincided with the announcement of the new and huge military assistance of the United States to Ukraine for the war against Russia.
On the other hand, General Valery Zalogeny, commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, warned about the alleged threat of Russia resorting to nuclear weapons in Ukraine.
On February 24, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered the country's army to start "special military operations" in Ukraine. This order was made a few days after Moscow's action in recognizing the independence of the two republics of "Donetsk" and "Luhansk" in the Donbas region from Ukraine.
