Reconstruction of Hundreds of Schools in Jawzjan

Afghan Voice Agency(AVA)_Monitoring, Ahmad Shah Aziz Yar, the head of the UNICEF office in the northern zone, in a meeting with Alhaji Mawlawi Mohammad Taher Jawad, the head of education in Jawzjan, said that the UNICEF office will rebuild 100 schools that were destroyed in the recent incidents.

According to him, the launcher of this project is ACTED Institution, and $30 thousand US dollars have been spent for the reconstruction of each school.

Mawlawi Mohammad Taher Jawad, the head of education in Jawzjan, expressed his gratitude for this good move UNICEF and ACTED office and said the lack of drinkable water, desks, and chairs in Jawzjan schools is one of the main problems of this department, and he called for more cooperation from the mentioned institutions in the sector.
