Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Herat: Yesterday, Wednesday (August 17), the Governor of Herat met with the deputy consular affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran and the head of the Chamber of Commerce and Investment of Herat Province at the headquarters of the Chamber of Commerce.
In this meeting, some heads of the government offices of the Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Herat and the leadership board of the Chamber of Commerce were also present.
Mohammad Yunus Ghazizadeh, the head of Herat Chamber of Commerce, appreciated the cooperation of Iran and shared some challenges faced by importers.
Ghazizadeh requested more attention and cooperation from the Deputy Consul of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran in the field of obtaining business visas for businessmen and investors.
Meanwhile, Alireza Begdali, deputy consular officer of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran, spoke about the good relations between the two countries.
He said that Iranian businessmen and investors are interested in investing in Afghanistan.
Bigdali also called for joint cooperation in the field of creating more facilities for the businessmen of both sides.
On the other hand, Sheikh Noor Ahmad Islamjar, the governor of Herat province, appreciated the good relations between the two countries.
He said: Trade is affected by security and complete security prevails in the country.
The governor of Herat also emphasized that efforts are underway to attract foreign investors in Afghanistan and Afghanistan is a good platform for foreign investors.
Herat is one of the relatively safe provinces of the country, which has the largest industrial city in the country. Thousands of people are busy working and providing livelihood by working in the factories of this town.
