Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): "Zhao Lijian", the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, announced in a speech today (Wednesday) that the cooperation between Moscow and Beijing is not against any third party.
According to the Russian TASS news agency, this Chinese diplomat said in response to a question in this regard: "China fundamentally rejects such unilateral and illegal sanctions." Russia and China carry out their normal exchanges and economic cooperation on the basis of equality, mutual benefit and mutual respect. "We do not tolerate foreign interference."
Since the start of the war in Ukraine, Beijing has always declared its position of neutrality and opposition to violating the sovereignty of another country. American officials have also repeatedly admitted that there is no evidence of Beijing helping Moscow in this war.
On the other hand, Bloomberg revealed today that American Republican Senator Marco Rubio announced that in order to cut off Russia's financial resources in the war with Ukraine, the country's oil exports to China should be sanctioned.
Rubio's request was made while cutting off the flow of Russian oil to China may force China to compete with other major oil buyers in West Asia and Africa, including India, and this action could potentially increase the price of oil.
Rubio, along with Senator Rick Scott of Florida and Senator Kevin Cramer of North Dakota, introduced a bill that would register oil tankers or ships carrying Russian natural gas to China and set fines for their entry into China.
