Afghan Voice Agency (AVA), Syria was the first country after Russia to recognize Ukraine's two separatist republics on Wednesday (June 29).
"There will be no more relations between Ukraine and Syria," the Guardian newspaper reported today, quoting Zelensky in a telegram video.
Zelensky also said in the video that the pressure of sanctions against Syria will increase.
The breakaway states of Donetsk and Luhansk in the Donbas region have been out of Kiev's control since 2014. Moscow recognized the two separatist republics in February this year.
