The Herat Public Health Department has confirmed that a doctor has died of the coronavirus in the province.

According to the health department, a doctor named Abdul Wahid Razi, one of the personnel of Herat Public Health Department died of the virus on Wednesday.
The health authorities said the doctor who died worked in ICU unit of the COVID-19 hospital.
Previously, the Ministry of Public Health has reported that more than 100 doctors and health personnel have been infected with the coronavirus in the country.
