Afghan forces launch all out operation against militants in Baghlan

According to a statement released by Ministry of Defense, the security forces launched the operations on Wednesday night in Dand-e Shahabuddin, Dand-e Ghori and Kelgai. The statement further added that the security forces will continue to their operations until they fully clear Baghlan province of militants.
The Ministry of Defense also added that the security forces launched the operations after conducting similar operations in Badakhshan, Takhar and Kunduz provinces.
The security forces cleared vast swathes of land of militants during the operations besides killing or wounding dozens of Taliban fighters and their commanders during the previous operations, the Ministry of Defense added.
