The Afghan forces killed 25 militants of Mullah Shoaib, one of the commanders of Taliban in northern Balkh province.

The 209th Shaheen Corps said in a statement that the security forces killed the militants during the operations in Asya Khan and Asyab Gorg Villages of Chemtal district.
The statement further added that the security forces killed another Taliban militant in Sabzikar Village of Chahar Bolak district.
The security forces also wounded another Taliban militant during the same operation, the 209th Shaheen Corps added.
